I have been singing, dancing, and acting since I was 12 years old and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater. I love the connection and energy performing brings to my life. Connection is an integral part of yoga. Yoga asana (or postures) not only strengthen the body, but deepen our mind-body connection so that we learn how to care for our whole selves.
When I teach, I want my students to leave feeling better, not just physically, but emotionally too. Breathe and movement allow us to process thoughts and emotional so they don’t stagnate and become physical ailments. By expanding our awareness we avoid falling into the mindless traps and habits that don’t support our intentions and goals.
