Sometimes a person makes a decision to accomplish a task- a bevy of concrete reasons not required. It's a "just because" moment. For Laurie Russell, Saturday March 3, 2018 was one of them.

On August 2nd, 2016 I decided to start a sugar detox with my friend and I had no idea how much my life would change and how much I would gain from the experience. A year and a half later I am 40 pounds lighter and have lost almost 10% of my body fat.
It’s most accurate to weight or measure your food but that may not be practical. Eyeballing your portions by comparing them to everyday objects can help.
Can you believe it? The Sugar Detox Challenge is half way over!
Before we start, I want to emphasize that I am a Lifetime Member and made my goal and sustained it for several years. I have been a strong advocate of their program – until now.

Have you said any of the following before?
Last year Pam was featured in Runner's Word: Ask the Expert! The question she answered was "What's a good overall exercise for runner's to use that incorporates all upper body muscles?". A great question and we wanted to share the answer again with you! See Pam's answer below....

I started smoking in vitro. Not by choice mind you.
Over the years, I have tried some things that worked out great and others that have flopped (see below). Without further preamble, in all of their glory, are the top 3 “do’s” and “don’ts” according to the Pam Ben Rached’s Running Bible. Some of them just may surprise you….
